Compressed Gauze

The Z-fold sample packs a continuous strip of crinkle cotton gauze into a flat, individually sealed pouch. It measures 4.5 inches wide by 4.1 yards long when stretched.

For a first aid kit or distributor order, specify a flat Z-fold pack or a cylindrical fluff gauze roll. The two formats open differently and take up different amounts of space in a kit.

What does 4.5 in × 4.1 yd measure?

It is the gauze width multiplied by its stretched length. The folded pack is smaller. For a kit with a fixed pocket size, request the sealed pouch dimensions separately.

How do Z-fold gauze and a fluff gauze roll differ?

Z-fold gauze opens from a flat stack. Rolled crinkle gauze unwinds from a cylinder. A request for “Krinkle Gauze Roll” or “Fluff Roll Gauze Bandage Roll” should specify whether the buyer needs a roll or a flat compressed pack.

What should a distributor include in a quotation request?

State the fold or roll format, width, stretched length, ply, sterile status, quantity and destination. For kit assembly, include the maximum unit-pack dimensions and any labelling or carton requirements.
